On this episode of 'Inbound & Down,' Morey Publishing Creative Director Jon Sasala and Senior Inbound Strategist Danielle Esposito share their excitement about the future of inbound marketing. They dive into what's next for inbound, why it’s important to keep up with trends, and give their predictions on what the future will hold.
After seeing HubSpot co-founders Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah's keynote at Inbound 2016 and learning how much inbound marketing has changed in the past 10 years, we got super-excited about the future. Since then, we can't stop exploring new technology and contemplating what's in store for inbound (and just how awesome it'll all be).
As technology and consumers' buying habits continue to evolve, it's only fitting that inbound marketing adapts along with them. Whether it's new social media platforms to keep up with, or technology driving us to engage with our consumers differently, the future of inbound is bright, indeed! (The truth is we don't know exactly what the future of inbound holds, but that's part of what makes it all so extraordinary.)
"The future of inbound—and why am I so excited about this?" asks Sasala. "The answer is: I don't know what the future of inbound is, but I get really excited just thinking about the possibilities out there. I love the future, I love that every time I've got a problem, if there isn't a solution out there technology-wise today, there will be, soon. And I just get so excited to see how great technology evolves, and inbound marketing and technology go hand in hand."
Key Takeaways From This Episode:
Inbound best practices and trends will always be evolving. As inbound marketers, it's our job to keep up.
